Welcome to Short & Sweet Donkey Ranch. We are located in the beautiful rolling hills of East Texas, where tall pines grow and short & sweet donkeys roam our little piece of Hee Haw Heaven.
We were searching for something to raise on our eighteen acres and started out with standard donkeys. Then we discovered there was a shorter version and knew we had found what we were looking for. We purchased four miniature donkeys that first spring but quickly discovered that we needed more of these lovable and affectionate creatures. We now have a small herd of carefully chosen jennets, one very spoiled gelding, and three outstanding herd sires. We breed for conformation first, then we consider size and color.
We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and if you are ever in this part of the country please call us and stop by for a visit. Our barn door is always open and we would love to talk 'donkey' with you!
